Shiny regice: Pokémon Go’s shiny regice makes its mobile gaming debut part of the game’s A Very Slow Discovery event. As a rare and difficult-to-capture Pokémon such as a Galarian, you should make an extra effort to get one for your collection. Raiding is the only way to come across Galarian Slowpoke, therefore roaming around town won’t provide any results. Do not waste your time trying to catch a shiny form of a Pokémon that is notoriously difficult to capture.
History of shiny regice:
Additionally, on November 2, 2019, a Regigigas will appear in a first shiny regice GO Special Research Event and Regi Trio making a comeback. A ticket for the event costs USD 7.99, and a group of individuals must complete it. Almost all the quests involve players taking part in raid encounters, such as defeating Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.
Pokémon Go for a long time:
Slowpoke has been around in Pokémon Go for a long time, and it even has a shiny form; nonetheless, Galarian Slowpoke is a distinct species. There is no polished form of this Pokémon in the game because it is a different type of Pokémon. You will not be able to catch one during A Very Slow Discovery either. In its place, you’ll see the basic model.
Pokémon to appear in the app:
To a fault, Niantic does this for every new Pokémon to appear in the app. They won’t, though, for Galarian Slowpoke. It will resemble Galarian Zigzagoon’s shiny form, which debuted at the end of Season of Legends in May 2021 as part of the Luminous Legends Y event. A year had passed since Galarian Zigzagoon debuted in Pokémon Go, and the same is likely to happen to Galarian Slowpoke.
Pokémon have a far higher chance:
Galatian Slowpoke’s shiny variant won’t be available until 2022, so we’re expecting it to be part of a more significant event. The shiny variant of this Pokémon can only obtain by going on raids and fighting it. It is excellent news because raid Pokémon have a far higher chance of being shiny than wild Pokémon, with a chance of one in 500.
Previous Pokemon GO events:
Although finding Pokemon GO’s Shiny Regice can be challenging, playing during Raid Hour increases your chances of finding this Ice-type monster. Previous Pokemon GO events have included Shiny Regice, but this Legendary Pokemon will only appear in five-star raids from June 17 through the end of July 2018.
How to Catch a Shiny Regice in Pokemon GO?
There’s a higher chance of encountering Shiny Regice if you fight more Regice. The Shiny version of this Legendary Pokemon has a cobalt blue colour scheme. A few of Regice’s most effective attacks include Lock-On, Blizzard, Frost Breath and Earthquake. When facing Regice, it’s preferable to use the following Pokemon as counters:
- Lucario
- Charizard
- Houndoom
- Darmanitan
- Volcarona
- Chandelure
- Reshiram
- Metagross
- Blaziken
- Rampardos
- Flareon
- Heatran
When fighting Regice, it’s best to use Pokemon of the Fire kind:
Regice’s attacks are amplified during wintry weather, but if you’re facing this legendary Pokemon for the first time, fight it in the sun to maximise its use of Fire-type attacks. Against Regice, some of the most effective moves include Fire Spin and Overheat, as well as Fire Fang, Counter, and Blast Burn. Until June 17, gamers may come across Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.
Season of Discovery:
Pokémon Go is a small yet dedicated community of Pokémon trainers who hunt for each other regularly. They only appear for brief periods. Trainers, especially those after legendary Pokémon, must rush to ensure they get the ones they desire due to the regularity with which they appear.
Shiny Regice during the raids:
All players should be able to obtain a shiny Regice during the raids on June 1. The likelihood of running into it is one in every 20 attacks you complete, so you have a good chance of snagging one. For a long time now, players have used shiny variants of Regice, Registeel, and Regirock. The shiny forms of these Pokémon will be available whenever they appear in raids due to their longevity.
When a legendary Pokémon returns:
Niantic usually lets the community know when a legendary Pokémon returns to raids but does not have a shiny version. It happened when Genesect was added as a Burn Drive option to five-star attacks. Regice, on the other hand, would be a different tale due to its past. Trainers can now find the Shiny forms of these Legendary’mons in Pokemon Sword and Shield in addition to catching them.
Registeel will return to Pokémon GO:
In the first place, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will return to Pokémon GO for only a short period. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will be accessible in raids in conjunction with the “A Colossal Discovery” Special Research Event from November 1 to November 4, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in your local time zone.
Special Research Event:
During this event, Niantic will also release shiny variants of Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and Skarma to add some variety. A new Special Research Event is on the way, as previously indicated. Regigigas will be available in Pokémon GO as part of A Colossal Discovery, a ticketed event on November 2, 2019. Purchasers of “A Colossal Discovery” tickets (7.99 USD) will have the opportunity to meet Regigigas and receive special goodies from the questline.
A Colossal Discovery:
This set comes with a special medal and Avatar Pose and Regigigas and Unova and Sinnoh stones multiplied by one. It is not the only way you can come across Regigigas, though! Starting in November, Regigigas, the new raid boss in EX raids, will take Mewtwo’s place as the EX raid’s last boss. There is no requirement to complete “A Colossal Discovery,” although doing so allows players to face Regigigas before it debuts in EX raids.
Conclusion:
Those interested in attending should read up on everything there is to know about the event in our A Colossal Discovery guide. Before appearing in EX raids, the Regigigas will be available just during this event, giving you a chance to catch one before everyone else!
